To the local antique dealer on the purchase of a piece of yellow ground Worcester and porcelain
"I doubt if I shall get out owing to the shaking in the car for a day or two... I have been in a good deal of pain. I am feeling much better today, and... got cold at the show on Thursday and did not improve matters on Friday in the damp. I think it would be best for me to buy that yellow Worcester for the same price as was offered by the dealer; I will take my chance - there is still some china etc left!"
