A Japanese inlaid metal compact, Kyoto,  Taisho or early Showa period, decorated in gold and shibuichi with temples and to the other side rising dragons in floral borders, the interior fitted with lidded compartment decorated with bird and bamboo, the underside with two coin holders and another with bevelled glass mirror, the lid intended for lady's cigarettes, 94mm l, Mount Fuji mark of the Fuji Damascene Company (established in 1912)
