Fife, a George I vellum manuscript sasine/indenture, 'Tenement of Land with the pertinents under and above Lying in Anstruther Easter [Fife]/In favours of/Agnes Brown in liferent & Margaret & Helen Kemps in fie', dated 25th November 1718, inscribed, signed, and witnessed by various locals, another later, George II, 'Instrument of Sasine/Of an house & others [...] Lying in St. Monance [i.e. St Monans, Fife] for Security of the principal sum of Three Hundred nine pounds Six Shillings four pence [...]', signed in the name of William Leslie, styled Lord Newark (d. 1773), by John Mackie, merchant and attorney, Roxburghshire, a bundle of 49 George III manuscript petitions and settlements relating to diligence raised, in the sherifdom of Roxburgh, dated 1801-1803, including 'the Sale of the Stock Husbandry Utensils, and Household furniture belonging to Andrew Halliday tenant in Easter *adderly [...]', which came to £88:11:6, dated 23 July 1801, another four MSS, (approx. 55)
