Provenance: 1st: 1) ?C/G Barnes, July 1st 1706; title-page with pencilled ownership inscription. 2) Reverend St. George Bowles (d. 1804), matriculated Oriel College, Oxford, 1775, later vicar of Caverswall, Staffordshire; armorial bookplate to pastedown. 2nd: John Wordsworth FBA (1843-1911), Bishop of Salisbury (1885-1911); ink MS ownership inscription from his time as fellow of Brasenose College, Oxford, dated 1874.
