Horatii Flacci Poetæ amœnissimi cum quatuor comme[n]tariis [...], Paris: Badius Ascensius, 1519, defective woodcut title-page in red and black with printer's device within an architectural border, woodcut criblé initials, aa⁶, a-z⁸, A-N⁸, signature aa disbound and defective, N8 also disbound, holed and chipped, all of the contents with varying degrees of stains, however the text remains legible, varying worm trails throughout, when affecting letters never with loss of sense, infrequent contemporaneous 16th c ink MS marginalia in two distinct humanist hands, mostly glosses and some notes, particularly the Ars Poetica, occasionally cropped and in places lightly washed, defective 16th c calf binding, probably English and contemporary, perished spine, folio (31.5 x 22cm), [Adams H865]
