The Reverend William Greswell (c. 1797-1876), his manuscript accounts while at Oxford, either as a student at Brasenose or later as a fellow at Balliol, approx. [80]ff of MS, dated 1819-20, as well as the usual students' expenditure on books and wine, there are records of the costs in returning to his native Manchester, where his father the Rev. William Parr Greswell (1765-1854) was incumbent, and a note on having received £25 from Lord Boston (presumably the 3rd baron) for taking his son, the Hon.
