Two George III 18 inch Terrestrial and Celestial globes by W  & T M Bardin, 1800 and 1807, each sphere covered with twelve gores, the terrestrial globe inscribed To the Rt Honourable SIR JOSEPH BANKS BT, KB, President of the Royal Society This New British Terrestrial Globe containing all the latest discoveries and Communications from the most correct and authentic Observations and Surveys to the year 1799 by Captn Cook and more recent Navigator, Engraved from an accurate drawing by Mr Arrowsmith, Geographer/Additions to 1807,  is respectfully Dedicated by his most obedient hble servants W & T M Bardin, labelled Sold by W & S Jones Holborn London, the celestial globe inscribed To the Rev Nevil Maskelyne DD, FRS, Astronomer Royal This new British Celestial Globe containing the positions of nearly 6000 stars, stars, clusters, nebulae, planetary nebulae etc correctly computed & laid down [to the] year 1800 from the latest observations and discoveries by Dr Maskelyne, Dr Herschel, the Rev Mr Wollaston, etc, is respectfully dedicated by his most obedient hble servants W & T M Bardin, also with printed label Sold by W & S Jones Holborn, London, with brass meridian circle, the horizontal circle with divisions for the months and signs of the zodiac,   each on mahogany stand with  turned pillar and three  downswept  legs with spade feet and brass castors, the terrestrial globe with stretchers and compass, 104cm high
