Role confirmed. Thomas Shaw enlisted in 1803 and served in Ireland until 1806. He arrived at Montevideo in December 1806, returning a year later. In the Peninsula War he was present at the Siege of Capture of Badajoz. He was promoted and reduced on several occasions
