A BLUE PRINTED PEARLWARE TEAPOT AND COVER, C1800 with the Peace of Amiens and to the other side a cartouche inscribed Elizabeth Parsons Sherborne 1795, 15cm h

But for the use of the print depicting emblematical figures said to commemorate the Peace of Amiens, a treaty that resulted in a short lived peace with Napoleonic France in 1802, there would be no reason to doubt that the present teapot was not made in 1795.
