The engraver Francois Forster (1790-1872) was commissioned by publisher Sir Francis Graham Moon, 1st Bt, to engraver Franz Xaver Winterhalter's portrait of Queen Victoria. Subscriptions were sought for 1st and 2nd proofs and prints. The print was published in May 1847.
