Elizabeth Senescall (1804-1873) was born at Stoke, Lincolnshire, the daughter of a farmer John Senescall (1784-1856) and his wife Anne Senescall, nee Cookson (1774-1842)
Water stain lower right corner and light discolouration but the pigments generally well preserved, slightly threadbare in one or two places noticeably the D and F of the prominent alphabet band, no apparent moth holes or darning, in good quality contemporary early 19th c bird's eye figured cushion moulded frame
