Fabii Quintiliani oratoris eloquentissimi declamationum Liber, Basileæ: Ex Officina Brylingeriana, 1578, second title-page with printer's device, historiated initials, complete, collating: a-z⁸ A-Z⁸ ²A-E⁸ ²F⁵; a-s⁸ t³, i.e. [viii], 728, [36]; [ii], 292pp, the first part with a small amount of contemporary/contemporaneous marginal manuscript glosses, slight annotation and underlining, contemporary Swiss Renaissance binding of vellum over wooden boards, blind-stamped and rolled, the centre of the upper-cover enclosing an indistinct monogram, both covers outlined in fillets enclosing a foliate border with amorini masks, Western and Eastern European portrait profiles, five of the latter monogrammed HW, the whole centred by a profusion of further foliage and leafy capitals, four-compartment spine of raised bands, manuscript labels, red edges, lacking clasps, recto pastedown with contemporaneous script in ancient Greek, ffep with 1760 Latin ownership inscription, verso pastedown with 18th/19th c ancient Greek MS, 8vo; Naisl (Aemilianus), Speculum cleri utriusque, tam saecularis, quam regularis, three parts in one, Coloniæ Agrippinæ: Arnoldi Metternich, 1710, half-title, divisional titles, double-column, contemporary blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards, retaining one clasp, 4to, (2)
