Homer, Grenville (Thomas, editor), Porson (Richard, editor), et al., Ilias kai Odysseia [græce], four-volume set, small paper copy of The Grenville Homer, Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1800-01, The Iliad bound as two as issued, The Odyssey conforming, half-titles, printed in Double-Pica Greek type, uniformly bound in contemporary speckled calf, the covers rolled in gilt in the Neoclassical taste with borders of Greek key scrolls, three covers detached, others split and loose to various degrees, gilt-lettered labels, some further rubbed wear, marbled endpapers, 4to, (4) 

Provenance: George Horsley Palmer; early-mid 19th c armorial bookplates. Almost certainly the same George Horsley Palmer (1772-1853) of Nazeing Park, Essex, East India Company merchant and later MP for South Essex (1836-47).
