Provenance: 1) William Mostyn Owen (c. 1742-1795), Welsh landowner and MP for Montgomeryshire (1774-95); each of the first leaves with dated presentation inscriptions to; 2) Jon: Doraston, 1789, with his ownership inscriptions and shelf number. 3) With Quaritch at some stage, original recto blank in volume I with their pencilled note. 4) Ralph Henry Carless Davis (1918-1991), Professor of Mediaeval History at the University of Birmingham (1970-84); both ffeps with ownership inscription dated 1958.
