£2,500
William Morris. Twenty six Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co Daisy tiles, c1870, the design painted on Dutch tin glazed earthenware blanks, 15 x 15cm (6 x 6 inches)
It has been suggested that although a William Morris design these tiles were made and decorated by Frederick Garrard at the Milwall Pottery, London. See https://victorianweb.org/art/design/ceramics/garrard/blanchett.html
For another example and explanation of the production process of these tiles in a stained glass kiln see William Morris Gallery https://wmgallery.org.uk/object/daisy-tile-3/
In generally good ex-fireplace condition. Mostly good, several chipped, some discolouration and adhesion on back.
Those that require it should respond to conservation cleaning
