The Beatles. Royalty Theatre, Chester, Big Night Out, 15th May, 1963, [4]ff, original wrappers, folded, upper-cover numbered 323 and dated 1963 in ink manuscript, verso stamp-numbering: 686, slight smudges, 8vo 
A copy of one of The Beatles' rarest programmes, all of which appear to be stamp-numbered. The absence of the band's name from the cover might explain the low survival rate of this programme; pre-dating 'Beatlemania', as coined by the press in October 1963, fermented by their performance at the Royal Variety in the same year, only on the third leaf of this programme is to be found its sole reference to the band, 'The Beatles ... From the Top of the Hit Parade'.
