Provenance: 1) Sir Robert Wilmot, 1st Baronet of Osmaston Hall, Derby, servant to the Crown, secretary to successive Viceroys of Ireland - including the Dukes of Devonshire, and secretary to the Lord Chamberlain of the Royal Household; his Jacobean bookplate to pastedown. 2) Sold by James Wilson, Dealer in Rare and Valuable Books, Manuscripts, and Literary Curiosities, The "Hutton House" Book Store, Birmingham; loosely-inserted letterhead invoice, dated Sep: 11th 1907.
