Provenance: Lydia Maria Webb (1842-1918) and her sister Dr Helen Webb (1854-1926). Of Irish Quaker heritage, the Webb sisters lived together at Spout Farm, Rotherfield, Sussex. Lydia Webb died when the RMS Leinster was torpedo by a German submarine on 10th October 1918. An obiturist described her as "an ardent supporter of the Women's Suffrage Movement"
