Provenance: Recorded in Joanna Philips' notebook, c1845: "The ... ruins of the Forum in Giallo Antico, all bought in Rome in 1843". Bought at the same time as the model of the Column of Phocas, lot 179.
Much old settled dust and dirt. Loose / unstable. Small chips, mostly of a flea bite nature. No restoration
