A Victorian album of prints assembled by Burton Henry Philips, of late 18th-mid 19th c engravings and lithographs, genre painting, portraits, caricatures and landscapes, mostly uncoloured and neatly mounted 1-4 to a page, recto only, and several Italian drawings, one gouache, including a view of a church near Florence by Signor Gherardi, Octr 1842 and the Bay of Naples (36 x 25cm), later quarter calf over green boards, spine lettered SCRAP-BOOK, engraved bookplate

Burton Henry Philips (1858-1927) was the son of John Capel Philips (1831-1907) and his wife Frances S Flower (1834-1881)
