A Derby oval covered inkwell, c 1820, the domed cover with bud knop, the sides moulded with a band of festoons and arcading between beaded rims on a green ground, on four gilt paw feet, the interior with the pairs of crescentic compartment, sander and inkwell, 14cm h
Some stabilised firing stresses/cracks, where necessary the gilding refreshed. Further manufacturing blemishes, i.e. pitting, green ground imperfections. The bud knop nibbled. Slight surface wear.
