Rader (Matthäus), Bavaria Sancta, volume I only, first edition, Monachii [Monaco]: Apud Raphaëlem Sadelerum [Raphael Sadler], 1615, lacking engraved title-page and all plates, extant off-setting from their presence, colophon vignette excised with losses to errata verso, infrequent in-text engravings, further in-text woodcut historiated initials and footers, contemporaneous calf gilt, probably English, the covers blocked in gilt with a graduating double-fillet enclosing the letter S repeated four times, the angles with urns of floral stems, worn, split but holding, red-speckled edges, folio (32 x 22cm)
