An album of approx. 210 original b/w and sepia photographs, mixed sizes, annotated, dated 1923, showing their outward voyage on SS Gotha, of the Norddeutscher Lloyd Bremen line, to South America, via Lisbon and Madeira, and a line-crossing ceremony at the Equator; mostly Brazil and Argentina, including Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires, including the latter’s then newly built Palacio Barolo, scenes of the countries’ interior as they explore and camp, some shots of some indigenous locals, etc., original cloth-covered limp boards, oblong crown folio (28.5cm x 38cm).
