Provenance: Victoria, Princess Royal, Empress of German and Queen of Prussia (1840-1901) by whom presented to one of her eight bridesmaids, Lady Victoria Frederica Caroline Edgcumbe (1859-1920) who subsequently married Algernon Percy (1851-1933) second son of the 6th Duke of Northumberland; thence by descent to the present vendor.
