Provenance: 1st: Sir Abraham Hume, 2nd Baronet, FRS (1749-1838), of Wormleybury, Hertfordshire, floriculturist, art collector, and sometime MP; his armorial bookplate to each pastedown, later stamped: Arthingworth [Manor?, Northamptonshire]. 2nd: E.D. Hale; contemporary manuscript inscription to recto pastedown.
