A Meissen group of card players, second half 19th c, in the 18th c taste, each seated at a triangular gaming table, enamelled in polychrome and picked out in gilt, shaped triangular base, 14cm h, underglaze blue crossed swords, overlgaze workman's mark M.C.B. in red script
Good condition, the base with a stable firing crack; further, lighter stresses in places. Underside of one chair with an in-glaze starline crack. Some of the fingers with nibbled losses, but displaying well.
