An English panelled oak blanket box, late 17th/early 18th c, the front carved with a frieze of scrolling acanthus and monogrammed CK twice, 61cm h; 53 x 120cm
The lid somewhat sunned, lacking one portion of a panel and a peg. Original escutcheon, later lock. Interior replacements. Stable splits and bumped losses in places throughout.
