A RARE DERBY MODEL OF A SWAN, C1775 7cm h
Although Peter Bradshaw (Derby Porcelain Figures 1750-1848, 1990) records a Derby swan of the early 19th century, an earlier version appears to be unrecorded in the Derby literature.
Slight wear, old restoration to neck but an acceptable example of this rare Derby form
