[75] & [105]ff of MS, mostly contemporary vers de société about or by members of the Whig bon ton, including lines On the death of Mrs Hare by her Grave the Duchess of Devonshire, an elegy on Grantham church yard, further elegies, prose extracts, containing Extract from the Duke of Wellington's letter to Sir Charles Flint written the day after the Battle of Waterloo June 18th 1815, another extract from the Cornish Journal, charades and the odd riddle, etc., the smaller format volume with some loosening leaves at the start, those leaves also affected by a marginal loss of text with additional loss of sense, each bound in alternating contemporary crimson morocco gilt, rubbed and bumped, with some light scuffed losses, all edges gilt, 4to, (2)
