A RARE CAUGHLEY POLYCHROME 'CRINKLED' OVAL TEAPOT, COVER AND STAND, C1798-99 enamelled with the Cornflower Sprigs pattern, teapot and cover 15cm h
Provenance: H & R Cooke.

Literature: 2013, illustrated p187.
The only known example of a Caughley crinkled teapot and cover. Note the distinctive knop shape. The stand accompanies the teapot but is not an exact match being rather large and the rim moulding is similar to thumb prints rather than true crinkling.
