The automaton's redressing is dated 21st July 1971 by an invoice from Berry Dolls Limited, Historical Dolls', Costume Designers & Antique Dress Restorers, for the 'cost of dressing one automatic musical Jumeau Doll'
Mechanism with key and in good working order, when wound music plays as her left arm fans herself whilst her right arm raises the bouquet towards her nose, her head lowers to meet the flowers and then turns to the side, any marks to body of doll hidden beneath clothing or wig, later professionally redressed, dome base with loss and cracks to veneer
