A GEORGE III BURR YEW AND SATINWOOD WORK TABLE, C1790 incorporating a cheval screen with adjustable top, writing drawer, baize lined slide and concave workbox covered in pleated green silk, on square tapered legs and brass castors, 37cm h; 37.5 x 50.5cm

A similar table in the Victoria & Albert Museum (VAM No W.59-1927) currently on display at 1 Royal Crescent Bath was illustrated Fastnedge (R), Sheraton Furniture 1962, plt 50. The design relates to Sheraton's Reading and Work Table, the engraved illustration of which was published in his Cabinet-Maker and Upholsterer's Drawing-Book 1792.
