Folio, folding engraved frontispiece, title in red and black, full-page and folding engraved plates, maps and plans, small single-track marginal worming to first few leaves and last (unobtrusive impact to one map and printed title border), occasional ink library stamps. Bound in 18th century brown calf, attractively re-backed, spine fully gilt in compartments. This work was published in 72 numbered parts, and the preliminary leaves included in bound copies varies.
