Coventry, John Jones, 1765. Folio, folding engraved frontispiece, title in red and black, full-page and folding engraved plates, maps and plans, small single-track marginal worming to first few leaves and last (unobtrusive impact to one map and printed title border), occasional ink library stamps. Bound in 18th century brown calf, attractively re-backed, spine fully gilt in compartments. This work was published in 72 numbered parts, and the preliminary leaves included in bound copies varies. Ours has the dedication leaf by Dugdale followed by the preface, but the dedications/directions to binder leaves by Jones are not present. ESTC T145133
