A Derby yellow ground coffee cup and saucer plate, c. 1797, painted by Thomas 'Jockey' Hill with views of Wootton Lodge, Staffordshire, and a Lakeland landscape, in ciruclar gilt frames, gilt laurel borders, the cup 7cm h, the saucer plate 20cm diam, painted puce crown, crossed batons and D, pattern no 459, (2)

The cup in good condition, the interior base with slight firing blemish. The saucer dish restored.
