James I (1566-1625), a property deed, Latin manuscript hand-scrivened on vellum, in a court hand, 25 lines, red-ruled, lacking seal, 36cm x 57.5cm, a further 11 manuscript deeds, James I and later 17th century, all on vellum but one,  including a release from John Astell, yeoman of Thornby, Northamptonshire, to John Smith, yeoman of ***, signed and sealed, dated 1620, a Protectorate manuscript viz. the appointment of bailiff and Samuel Sanderson Esq., of the Bishopric of Durham, signed and sealed by the aforementioned Sanderson, dated 1653, etc., (12).
