Recorded in Joanna Philips' notebook, c1845: "The Dying Gladiator in bronze, the original at the Capitol[oline Museum]... bought at Rome in 1843"
Much old settled dust / dirt. Good condition. Corners of the base with small chips / flea bites. Note: loose on base
