Provenance: Prize in a competition organised by The Nottingham Evening Post and News in 1925 or 1926, won by Elizabeth Ann Hutchinson, nee Shipley of Bulwell, Nottingham; thence by descent to the present vendor. According to a label on the backboard the print was "sent to London where he signed it".
In good original condition undisturbed in the original 1920s frame with on the reverse the printed trade label of J Pratt Ltd, Nottingham, not hitherto offered sale
