A pair of Derby pot pourri vases, covers and stoppers, c 1790, with gilt satyr mask handles, painted with encircling flowers between aubergine and gilt bands, 27.5cm h, painted puce crown, crossed batons and D, one impressed No 8, painted numeral 2
One vase and cover restored, both stoppers extensively restored. Some slight surface wear and scratching, portions of mild pitting in places.
