A pair of Derby plates, c 1800, painted by George Robertson with a seacape and a landscape within gilt circular frames reserved on a white ground, green borders, 23.6cm diam, painted blue crown, crossed batons and D, and titles Near Folkstone (sic; Folkestone), in Kent, and Near Craig Logue in Fife, Scotland, and a Derby mug, c 1795, painted to the front with a river scene and ruins in sepia monochrome on a pale pink washed ground between canary yellow borders, the handle gilt, 9cm h, painted blue crown, crossed batons and D, and title On the River *** near ***, (3)
The plates good, though typically crazed for their type; some further surface wear. The mug restored, affecting legibility of named-view.
